My name is Lauren and I am an In-School Program Manager at Junior Achievement. I have been supporting the JA Achieve-A-Bowl for 3.5 years now.
Our mission here at JA is to inspire young people to own their economic success. We do this by sending volunteer mentors into the classrooms as well as at our capstone facilities, JA BizTown and JA Finance Park to teach students about financial literacy, entreprneuership and workforce readiness.
We povide our schools in Allen County JA programs without a cost by hosting fundraisers throughout the year. One of the biggest fundraisers is the JA Achieve-A-Bowl. For the first time this year, our staff is rallying together and raising money for our organization. My personal goal this year is to raise as much money as I can and I would love if you could help. Any amount large or small will help.
