We are excited to share that our Denver office is once again participating in the annual JA Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser this year with colleagues as part of the new Global Payments team, and participating alongside Western Union. This event is helping raise money for young people in Junior Achievement (JA) who receive critical financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurial lessons delivered by business and community role models.
JA provides these programs at no cost to schools or families thanks to the generosity of donors, so when you make a gift you know that you are making a difference. Each student going through the program costs $75, so we are asking for your help to ensure at least 100 students receive this very valuable education for their futures.
Students in JA receive the knowledge and tools that prepare them for a successful career and life. As a result of JA programs, they are more optimistic, driven, and engaged in their learning. Students from less fortunate backgrounds make leaps and bounds in their learning thanks to JA and gain role models they may not have otherwise had access to.
