For those that don't already know, Jumping Mouse is near and dear to my heart. I joined the board in 2019 and have loved every minute of my time serving.  The unique play therapy model was intriguing to me and I really wanted to learn more. After touring and experiencing therapist presentations of a child's work, I saw the incredible value in this wonderful organization that serves children in Jefferson County.  

While this has reached many that don't live where I live, please know that your funds will make difference.  These children don't all have the means to pay for therapy. It's your dollars through fun events like this that make their healing possible.  Please join me and our team in another crazy fun Trot Squad event.  I would be so grateful.

We see children ages two to twelve for a variety of reasons, most often when they have experienced emotional stress or trauma that has deeply affected them and their families. Some are grieving the loss of someone close to them; others have experienced domestic violence, abuse, or neglect. Sometimes, they are coping with changes in family structure, or a serious illness or medical problem. When these and other stressors affect a child’s ability to communicate, to attend school, or to relate to others, Jumping Mouse can help.
