Out Story

Someone asked me why I was on the steering committee for this fundraiser a few days ago and without really thinking about it I said "because it's basically like home". Shortly after we moved to the suburbs Ross signed up for camp with Keshet at Apachi Village. After struggling throughout that school year he was immediately happy at camp. He is now in his sixth summer and Apachi Village and now ZFA have become his home. Then it got to be our home too when we all (twins included) got to go to keshet family camp. Ross was immediately at home up there, the friends we made and the fun time we had made keshet home for us too. And the twins really liked following Marni around!

Children and adults with disabilities deserve and have every right to be part of the wider community in ways that they choose to be involved. Keshet provides the support for people to access opportunities to live full and meaningful lives in their home communities. Please help me raise critical funds for Keshet so its programs and outreach can continue growing every day
