I started taking karate at Sun Dragon almost 3 years ago and in that time I have moved up 3 color belts and 2 age group classes. I am now in the youth class and take karate with kids of all ages including high shcool youth who are black belts. I have also learned about important values that our school teaches and demonstrates including love, respect, responsibility, courage, and strong spirit.

Sub Dragon is a non-profit organization and the funds they raise from this kick-a-thon goes to tuition assistance for kids who cannot afford to take karate and to free classes they teach about violence prevention and self defense to teenagers and adults. 

At kick-a-thon, all the students and teachers get together to do hundreds of kicks as a way to show our sense of community and to raise money for our school. Please consider making a donation to this kick-a-thon so we can continue to provide the tuition assistance and free classes. And if I get 10 supporters, I also get to break a board in front of everyone which is my favorite part of the day.
