2019 Kicks for the Community Charity Event Grant Park July 13, 2019 - lets KICK IT!
How many years has it been? Five, six years now? My former co-worker, our fearless captain, Ryan asked me to come out to this charity event - it was formerly Kicks for the Cure, sponsored by former Bears tight end, Greg Olson; I did and fell in love with the event and the cause.
Each year you never know what is in store....rainouts, Benny the Bull, Jim Cornelison singing our national anthem, playing Greg's team in extra innings for the almost win, to Greg's mom Sue (11 year cancer survivor) checking on two of our injured players.... to flippy cup championships! It is an incredible event, please support me and donate to this worthwhile cause!
