I’m Taking the Leap (Again) for Youth in Our Community

This July, I’m doing something a little wild — again. I’m jumping out of a plane as part of the Leap of Faith with Cyrus Centre.

Yep, a tandem skydive.
Yep, I’m nervous.
And this year, both of my kids are signed up too.

Apparently this is just what we do now.

But truly — we’re doing it for something that really matters.

I’m jumping because no young person should have to face life alone.

Every day, youth in our community are making choices no one their age should have to make:
• Stay somewhere unsafe
• Sleep in a car
• Go back to a situation that hurts them

It doesn’t have to be that way.

We can do better — together.

We can make sure young people have safe housing, steady support, and people who actually stick around.

Where Your Donation Goes

Your support helps fund Home at Last, Cyrus Centre’s transitional housing program for youth (16–24) moving from crisis toward independence.

That support looks like:
• A safe place to live
• Warm meals
• Life skills and coaching
• Real relationships and consistent support

It’s not just housing.
It’s community. It’s stability. It’s hope.

My Goal: $800

$800 covers one full week of housing and support for one youth.

That’s one week of safety.
One week of not having to choose survival.
One week closer to a future.
