WELCOME! The South Florida Chapter of the Star Legacy Foundation is so excited to host our annual remembrance event!

Let's Not Be Still - an event benefiting The Star Legacy Foundation will take place on October 15th, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park (6503 N Ocean Drive, Dania Beach, FL 33004). Activites will include: keepsake painting, yoga/meditation, fun for the kids, and e-candle lighting for the Wave of Light. Children, family members, and friends are all welcome!

Registration is required for this event. While we are hosting this event at no charge, we would suggest fundraising by participants to cover our costs if you are able to do so!

Almost 21,000 babies are stillborn every year in the U.S. For us, this statistic is a reality, and we are on a mission to change those statistics. We are a local community of bereaved parents who have all experienced the stillbirth of a baby, and we invite you to join us on October 15th to honor all babies gone too soon. All funds raised will support Star Legacy's mission to increase awareness, support research, promote education, and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth.

The Star Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to reducing pregnancy loss and neonatal death and improving care for families who experience such tragedies. We are a community of families, health professionals, researchers, policy makers, and individuals dedicated to helping every pregnancy have a happy ending.
