Our daughter, Camilla Grace Woods, was born sleeping on March 6, 2023 - she was perfect in every way weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces and 20.5 inches long. We were three days into a scheduled hospital induction and never imagined that she wouldn't be coming home with us.
During the time in the hospital we were able to spend a couple of days with our daughter because of the generous donation of a cuddle cot by another family who had lost their daughter a few years earlier.
There are so many things asked of you and such little time to be with your child when a healthy pregnancy and baby are gone in just minutes.    Looking back I wish that I knew of the Star Legacy Foundation, their helpful online rescources that include checklists and free weekly meetings with other parents of stillbirth that are lead by a licensed therapist.

The outpouring of support and love in honoring our daughter is more than we ever imagined. It is such a blessing to honor our daughter daily and we love how the Star Legacy foundation goes above and beyond to support the families along with help make legislative changes while providing education to healthcare providers and families too.
