Let's Level UP YIGBY & UPLIFT San Diego!

Thank you for joining my efforts to raise funds for two of my favorite nonprofits in San Diego. YIGBY Faith Community Housing and UPLIFT exist to make transformative impact in the lives of San Diego's vulnerable populations. I believe in both organizations wholeheartedly.

I serve on the YIGBY Advisory Committee and have worked with UPLIFT for 6 years, first on the 25 Cities Design Team in 2014, now as a collaborator on YIGBY. More importantly, I have witnessed with my own eyes and heart the incredible impact that UPLIFT has on the lives of those served and the YIGBY potential to address our crisis level housing shortage.

YIGBY URGENT Needs - funding for Bethel AME Proof of Concept project permits, closer everyday!

About UPLIFT - Urban People Living in Faith & Trust - Uplifting San Diego’s inner-city communities by transforming the lives of people in need with Homeless Services & Student Services.  https://www.upliftsandiego.org/

UPLIFT URGENT COVID related needs include:

• funding for added staff time & equipment in transitioning our FREE Kids At Heart Tutoring from site-based sessions to virtual platform supporting distance learning for low income students, who are especially at risk of falling behind in school right now.   
• Homeless housing support to help with COVID Convention Center resident placement. About 1200 unsheltered there. No pressure! 

 YIGBY & UPLIFT Team activity: RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS!

• SUGGESTED GOAL:100 per Team Member over 30 days = 3 per day, extra on weekends ♥ 
  (Yes I did just let you go in front of me at the market, feed you parking meter, private chat you that your kids were making faces behind you in the important zoom meeting...Kindness changes the world!)
