Let's Turn UP the Volume on Voices of Our City Choir & Level UP San Diego!
Thank you for joining my efforts to raise funds for two of my favorite nonprofits. Voices of Our City Choir and UPLIFT exist to make transformative impact in San Diego. I believe in both organizations wholeheartedly. As a life long musician and leader of The Sweet Baby Blues Band I know how hard Steph Johnson & the Choir are working right now. UPLIFT URGENT COVID related needs include:
- funding for added staff & equipment for transitioning our FREE Kids At Heart Tutoring from site based to virtual platform to support distance learning for low income students, who are especially at risk of falling behind in school right now.
- flex funding for homeless housing support for COVID Convention Center residents' and homeless motel families' placement. About 1200 unsheltered there. No pressure!
