The Walk-a-Thon is an effort to raise money in order to pay for the beautiful, new track and field. Lutheran High School will be walking around the whole property on October 31st.
Last year, I was involved in a cross country camp at Lutheran. The track was old and so torn up that it was hard to run without tripping, and I had to focus on where I took each and every step. Now that we have a new track, running is much more comfortable. I can put less focus on where I step and more focus on what the coach is telling me. When track season rolls around in the spring, I can confidently say that it will be 100 times better than the old track. Without Lutheran High, I probably would’ve never had an interest in running track, so I really want to be able to raise money to give back.
I am asking for just a couple people to give 5, maybe 10 dollars each (but anything you are willing to give will be a blessing!). I only need 5 people to give $10, or 10 people to give $5 in order to reach my goal. Will you be one to help me?
