October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, which comes very close to home for me this year. On July 31, my brother Josiah and my sister-in-law Shannon I lost their son at 32 weeks gestational age.

Shannon is working with Star Legacy Foundation to raise money for this year's Virtual Pregnancy & Infant Loss 5k Walk/Run on October 17. The Foundation's mission is to increase awareness, support research, promote education, and encourage advocacy and family support regarding stillbirth, pregnancy loss, and neonatal death.
