My Personal Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am participating in the Congenital Heart Walk to support the mission of The Children's Heart Foundation: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects by funding the most promising research.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page. I walk in honor of my beautiful heart angel Khloe Faith Cole.
My commitment to making a difference has led me to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk, an event that carries immense significance for me. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
Raising awareness and funds for The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF) is something we have decided to do in memory of our heart angel Khloe. We chose CHF as it is the country’s leading organization solely dedicated to funding Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) research. The mission of CHF is to fund the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHD’s.
Please join our team, Khloe's Cause and help us raise awareness for CHD, help fundraiser towards CHD research, or simply just read our story.
Please read her story:
Khloe Faith Cole “twin A” was born on March 13, 2018 in Orange, Ca. Delivered 33 weeks premature; weighing 2 pounds 5 ounces, 14 inches long.
Khloe was born with a large Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), hole in her heart and a narrow aortic arch which was discovered while in the womb. Upon birth she was admitted to Children's hospital of Orange County (CHOC) NICU. Due to her small size, at 3 weeks old Khloe was flown to San Francisco for emergency open heart surgery at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Dr. Reedy and team performed successful Coarctation of the aorta (open heart surgery) on Khloe weighing just 2 pounds 9 ounces. After her recovery from surgery Khloe was flown back to CHOC to continue with her NICU care. Khloe was thriving; gaining weight and completely off oxygen only needing to take the bottle to be discharged when suddenly she got real sick real fast. It was discovered that Khloe had pulmonary stenosis and pulmonary artery hypertension for which was so severe there was no medical answer to fix this diagnosis.
On June 22, 2018 Khloe let us know her fight was over.
