As a parent to a child with a Congenital Heart defect, I find it to be my responsibility to share with each of you about how you can help these children in their journey through life living with CHD. Ezra was born with Atrioventricular Septal Defect as the center walls of his heart didn't fully develop in Utero. It was at 6 months that Ezra had his surgery to correct his defect. He unexpectedly went back in for a second surgery where he showed us how much of a warrior he was. He recovered in less than 7 days and was home before we knew it. Ezra's journey continue to inspire us to be strong and steadfast in faith that things will work out the way they are meant to be.
