Momentum Bike Clubs philosophy is anchored in positive youth development. We intentionally engage youth constructively within their communities by affirming their strengths and assets. Positive youth development works to develop their leadership potential, provide consistent support and promote healthy relationships.
Momentum Bike Clubs works with youth aged 10 to 18. We use cycling to exercise, model healthy relationships, teach leadership, compassion and enable personal growth. Momentum Bike Clubs partners with schools and community-based organizations to facilitate our bike clubs. Our consistent support begins in middle school and continues through college.
We believe families thrive in supportive communities. Strong youth flourish in healthy families supported by their communities. These adolescents will become leaders and agents of positive community change.
This summer, Momentum Bike Clubs is partnering with Safe Harbor to give youth the opportunity to raise funds to support Safe Harbor's services for victims of domestic violence and their children in our community. This youth group has been so passionate about helping Safe Harbor clients and are eager to serve any way they can. They’ve been working on their biking through Momentum Bike Club and have decided to raise funds to support Safe Harbor through their final 16-mile bike ride on Wednedsay, July 21!
