May is World MED13L Awareness Month! Donate to my nephews' lemonade stand as we support those with MED13L syndrome. By donating, you can win a free 1-hour photoshoot (Chicagoland area) by Khio Photography -- all while supporting a great cause!
Your donation will help fund research, family support programs, awareness initiatives, and advocacy efforts through The MED13L Foundation. Together, we can help accelerate progress toward better treatments and a brighter future for individuals living with MED13L Syndrome.
What is MED13L Syndrome?
MED13L Syndrome is an ultra-rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder caused by changes in the MED13L gene. It can affect speech, mobility, learning, behavior, and overall development. Every person with MED13L is unique, but many require lifelong therapies, medical care, and support.
There is currently no approved treatment or cure, making research essential for improving outcomes and creating new possibilities for affected individuals and families.
Why Rare Disease Research Matters
Rare diseases affect millions of people worldwide, yet many remain underfunded and poorly understood. Research is the key to better care, improved quality of life, and future treatments.
For families affected by MED13L Syndrome, every study and scientific discovery brings us one step closer to answers and hope.

Every donation helps move that mission forward.
