As you already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Awareness is important, but research is what makes a difference.

Breast cancer fundraisers are everywhere, but very little of the money raised goes toward research for stage IV, metastatic breast cancer. Less than 13% of breast cancer research funding has gone toward metastatic breast cancer research, leaving a huge gap for the people living with this disease.

METAvivor is the only US-based organization dedicated exclusively to funding metastatic breast cancer (MBC) research through a scientific peer review process.

Please help me raise money to fund better treatments for people living with MBC, especially at a time when cancer research funding is facing cuts and uncertainty.
