On October 6, Kenston Volleyball is hosting our annual Volley for the Cause night at Kenston High School, and every dollar we raise goes to METAvivor. METAvivor is the only nonprofit in the U.S. that funds research exclusively for metastatic (stage 4) breast cancer. It is volunteer-led, and 90% of every donation goes directly to research grants.
More than 42,000 people in this country die from metastatic breast cancer every year, yet only a small fraction of breast cancer research dollars go toward keeping stage 4 patients alive. Most funding goes to prevention and early detection. METAvivor is working to change that.
If you cannot make it to the game, or if you have a workplace giving account or fundraising program that makes it easier to give directly to METAvivor, this page is for you. Every donation counts toward our Volley for the Cause total.
Here's how you can help:
Donate: Give whatever you can. No amount is too small!
Spread the Word: Share this page with friends, family, and anyone who has been touched by breast cancer. The more people who see it, the more we can raise.
Come Out on October 6: Join us at Kenston High School for Freshman, JV, and Varsity volleyball, plus Fan Fest, a basket raffle, a bake sale, and Digs for Donations.
Thank you for standing with Kenston Volleyball and with everyone living with metastatic breast cancer!
