6th Annual MOVE for CASA!

We are so excited for Santa Cruz County's annual MOVE For CASA to take place on Saturday, May 2!  We are even more excited to announce that we will have new groups/teams/locations joining us this year!

We invite all members of our community to join CASA Advocates, The Friends of CASA, Staff, Board, and Supporters at Elkhorn Slough Reserve at 1700 Elkhorn Road in Watsonville. This is an all-ages family-friendly event. However, dogs are not allowed at the slough, sorry.

Form a team of your own, pick a location to MOVE, and invite your friends!

If you're joining us at the Slough, we'll have coffee and refreshments available from 10am and will kick the event off at 10:15am. We plan on doing a 3 mile loop but there are shorter and longer distances available as well as a wheelchair accessible trail.

All proceeds from this event support CASA of Santa Cruz County's mission to match every youth experiencing foster care or juvenile probation with a trained volunteer Advocate. Because of your support, the most vulnerable children and youth in our community are receiving more services, performing better both academically and behaviorally in school, and are simply experiencing a stronger sense of hope.

Partner with Us! 
Do you own an exercise studio, teach a fitness class, or lead group fitness activities? 

We would love to partner with you for our annual Move for CASA. We are looking for partner organizations to sponsor/donate a class or an activity on May 2, 2026. This class, activity, day will be dedicated to CASA’s Move for CASA and will be available for free to all those who have pre-registered for the event.

CASA will supply online registration (free) and have a representative at the event to monitor registrant attendance, share some words about CASA and MOVE with you!  All donations for participation will be done online and will go to CASA, a 501c3 non profit organization.

In return for your generous donation, we will promote your organization online, via email, social media, and our website, letting our community know that you support its most vulnerable youth.
