Every year, Kingsley and I lace up our shoes (well… I do) and take part in Mutt Strut to support the incredible work of the Champaign County Humane Society.

We wish we could open our home to every dog who needs one—the ones waiting patiently, the ones who just need a second chance, the ones who deserve to be loved. But since we can’t save them all, this is our way of giving back and making a difference.

For the past several years, this event has become something really special to us. It’s not just a walk—it’s a reminder of how much joy, companionship, and unconditional love animals bring into our lives, and how important it is to support the people who care for them when they need it most.
