Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hello my name is Alison and I play in the bass of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played bass for 4 years. MYS is important to me because I love to play music outside of school to become better at bass.
