Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hi, my name is Solomon and I play in the Repertory Orchestra of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played viola for two years (after playing violin for six) and this is my first year in MYS. My favorite part of MYS rehearsals has been meeting other musicians. MYS is important to me because I enjoy being challenged and hope to play viola in college.
