As most of you know, my husband is pretty passionate about his role at Never Alone. They may not be able to send people to Disneyland etc., but the Foundation does provide a lot of people respite from cancer through the Day Away Program. 

This program can be as simple as a night at the symphony for someone who just needs a break from treatments, to a family outing at a ballgame, or a final wish. 

A few months ago, he had a client who wanted to take her young son on a train ride before she passed. They were able to arrange trasportation to the Prairie Dog Central and a lot of other goodies to make the trip memorable.
