Know Before You Go

After two years without a gala due to the pandemic, we are very excited to gather together to raise awareness and funds to benefit children and families who need Nemours Children’s Health. We have considered every detail. The event will feature a cocktail hour with passed Hors d’oeuvres, specialty cocktail, dinner and entertainment. For those of you who aren’t dancing the night away, the French Dessert Lounge will offer a refuge to enjoy desserts, cheeses and coffee.

Please note: Photographs will be taken at the event. By attending the Nemours Children’s Health Night at Nemours — Taste of France, you agree to allow Nemours Children’s to use these photographs as we see fit, without compensation.

There is a limited block of discounted suites being held at the Caribe Royale October 7th - October 9th for our event guests.

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive before 7:00 p.m., to enjoy the short program.

Valet parking is complimentary and will be provided to all event guests. The gala is in the convention center part of the hotel. From the main entrance of the hotel, enter through the parking gate to the right. Valet will be located in front of the the main entrance of the convention center. Attendants will be present to direct you where to go.

Festive Cocktail Attire

Feel free to don your festive and stylish cocktail attire. European fashions are welcome, including fascinators, hats and unique pocket squares. 

Women can pull off anything from a fun cocktail dress, to an elegant pantsuit, to a fancy gown.

Men can wear anything from black tie to a sport coat...live it up, this is going to be the best event of the season! 

6:00 p.m. Cocktail Reception 

Featuring our butlered signature cocktail, The French Tart, passed hors d'oeuvres, crepe stations, and a signature champagne experience you wont want to miss! 

7:00 p.m. Program, Entertainment and Served Dinner

Mesculan Salad, Crumbled Goat Cheese, Dressed with Champagne Vinaigrette, Herb Crostini

Dual Entree of:

Coq Au Vin Bone-in-Chicken Breast with Mushroom and Tomatoes 

and

Seared Cod with Champagne Citrus Beurre Blanc 

Buttered Parisian Carrots, Whipped Bintje Potatoes and Fennel Asparagus Slaw 

8:30 p.m. Dessert, Cheese and Coffee

Served in the Dessert Lounge immediately following the program 

Join us for a night of dinner, dessert and dancing to one of Orlando's most popular party bands, Stratosphere, and a mind-blowing performance by Mentalist Oz "Oz Knows" Pearlman - all for an extraordinary cause. 

Make the night a memorable experience and take a picture at our mobile photo booth, selfie station, or get your picture drawn by a caricaturist!

Our guests’ safety during the gala is of paramount importance to Nemours Children’s.
