In Loving Memory of Caroline Faith,
Our daughter was born prematurely at 23 weeks gestation. At just 7 days old, we heard for the first time the words Necrotizing Enterocolitis also known as NEC. Our daughter Caroline fought so hard, enduring multiple surgeries and overcoming all obstacles, she filled our lives with hope and more love than we knew possible. Just days before she was to come home, NEC returned.
Fulminant NEC stole our light, our reason to be , our everything, and with it our precious Caroline. Just a few days shy of turning 6 months old, this terrible disease took over and my sweet daughter passed away in my arms.
In her memory, I’m raising funds for the NEC Society to support research and advocacy so other families can have a different story.
Her middle name was Faith and it is this faith that keeps us going. Please consider donating in honor of Caroline’s beautiful, brave life and to help bring awareness and help other babies like her.
