Know Before You Go

Agenda (times are subject to change)
•    9:00 a.m. - The rally will begin at Nemours Children’s Hospital for vehicle display, driver check-in, and breakfast/refreshments. 
•    9:45 a.m. - Driver briefing to go over the route and safety tips before rolling out to begin the rally. 
•    10:00 a.m. - Depart Nemours Children's Hospital. Route map and specific directions can be found in your driver booklet which you will receive at check-in.
•    1:00pm - Arrive at Porsche Club of America’s Autocross Series (13000 Frankies Rd, Tavares, FL 32778) for lunch, awards ceremony, vehicle display, and autocross tournament driving.
 
Arrival & event registration

•    Upon arrival at Nemours Children's Hospital (13535 Nemours Parkway, Orlando), please proceed to the roundabout directly in front of the hospital. From here you will be directed to an appropriate area to park along the circle. Please do not park in undesignated areas. 
•    After you have parked, please proceed to driver check-in, which will be marked by a Cars4Kids banner directly in front of the hospital along the main walkway. 
•    Please bring a photo ID for check-in and to receive materials included with registration. 
•    After checking in, drivers can enjoy breakfast and refreshments as well as place decals on vehicles.

PCA Autocross Series pre-registration

•    PCA Autocross requires an additional form and waiver to participate in the autocross. In order to participate, you must register your vehicle NO LATER THAN 2/14 at 11:59am to be allowed to Autocross at www.clubregistration.net

•    Instructions to register:

  1. For new users, click on “Create Account”, choose a username and password, and enter your personal profile, including your car class
  2. For existing users, click on “Log In”
  3. Click on “Event Sign Up” in the banner
  4. Under “Club” click on “Florida Citrus Region – PCA”, then “Search”
  5. Select “FLC-German Excellence NEMOURS Autocross 2/15/2020-- Tavares (Autocross)” and click on “Register”
  6. Complete registration information as a Nemours participant
     

•    Some rules and expectations:

  1. Registration into Nona Cars4Kids allows for (1) driver to participate in the Autocross. If you would prefer your ride-along guest to race in your place, please have them complete the registration instead and notify us of the change during driver check-in at Nemours Children's Hospital.
  2. No one under 18 can participate in the autocross!
  3. Helmets are required, please bring your own. Helmets accepted are SA2010 or SA2015 only, no motorcycle helmets. There will be a few loaners available but will be very limited.
  4. Convertibles must have the top up.
  5. Cars must be empty to run the AX, please empty your vehicle prior to the rally or bring a tarp to put your belongings on during the AX.

There will be an award for both male and female experienced and non-experienced winners to go along with other Cars4Kids prizes.  


Some things to keep in mind while at the hospital or driving
•    Please remember that the hospital is open and active, so we need to be mindful of families and patients trying to get in for medical attention. Please be sure to leave room in the roundabout for them to enter/exit. 
•    When we are on the open road we are representing more than just ourselves; we are representatives of Nemours Children's Hospital, Central Florida Cars and Coffee, and all of our other sponsors and partners. Please be mindful of this and drive safely and with respect for your fellow rally participants and bystanders.
•    No burnouts! 
•    Remember to have FUN!!
