Northern California Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk 2026!

NOVEMBER 7, 2026 (9 am - Noon)
Big Hearts. Big Steps. Big Impact—Right Here at Home. Every dollar you raise stays local and fuels camp, advocacy, education, and support for people with bleeding disorders. We Walk for the Cheers, the Tears, and the “We’ve Got You” Moments. Your fundraising keeps vital programs local—connecting families to care, community, and hope.

About the Walk

For families living with bleeding disorders, a simple cut, a bumped knee, or a missed infusion can mean an ER visit, days of pain, or worse. The Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk exists to change that — by funding education, advocacy, and direct support for Northern California families who need it most.

This year, we're walking Parrothead style. Because Jimmy Buffett fans know how to show up for what matters.

Every dollar you raise stays local and goes directly to our chapter — real help for real families in your community. Start a team, join an existing crew, or make a donation. Then meet us at Heather Farm Park on November 7th for sunshine, smiles, and steps that make a difference.

Voices From Our Communities

Our programs change lives. Here's how families describe the difference:

We are so grateful for the support and community we've received through NorCalBDF.  Having a child with a bleeding disorder can feel daunting but knowing we have resources, information, education, and a shoulder to cry on, has been so beneficial for our family. TH, mother and person with bleeding disorder

Camp Hemotion was one of the most valuable weeks of my son's entire life. For the first time ever, he was not the outcast but part of the NORM! He was surrounded by happiness and success. As well, he had tremendous role models in the counselors and junior counselors. He came home with a new light shining and hope that there is SO much more out in life, that he absolutely can accomplish, hemophilia is something that he HAS not who he IS. He is more than a diagnosis. CO, mother of person with bleeding disorder

Family Camp keeps getting better. My family really enjoyed being outdoors.  Perfect learning opportunity and enlightenment.  We are deeply grateful to Pedro for his inclusivity and for making the effort to provide communication in Spanish as well. Thank you for your hospitality. TS, mother and person with bleeding disorder

Female Factor Retreat - I would like to thank the planning committee for doing such a wonderful job organizing this event and hosting an opportunity for the women to discuss a range of issues. SS, mother of person with bleeding disorder

Men's Meetup - It feels like a family when I come to these events.  TC, person with bleeding disorder
