This past June, we had the incredible opportunity to send kids from our community to Camp Hemotion 2025 — a weeklong, Harry Potter-themed camp held in Coarsegold, CA, just for youth living with bleeding disorders. And what happened there was nothing short of magical. Beyond the fun — swimming, archery, climbing walls, and late-night campfire stories — campers gained something far more powerful: independence.

One of the most meaningful moments we witnessed was watching kids learn how to self-infuse — giving themselves their own life-saving medication for the first time. For children who’ve relied on their parents since infancy, this is a major step. It’s not just about medical care — it’s about confidence, courage, and learning to take control of their own lives.

We’re raising funds now to help make this experience possible for even more kids next year. Every donation helps us provide:
