In my more than 8 years at Exact Sciences, working for a company dedicated to the fight against cancer has become deeply personal. I have become friends with many who have been impacted by colorectal ancer. And, too often, I've had to say goodbye to people who have died from it.

So this November, I am going out of my comfort zone and will drop the razor for a month. My ability to grow a beard has been tested before with forgettable results. But that's not what this is about. This is about raising awareness for a cause close to my heart.

So please help me reach my goal this month of raising $1,000. I've already kickstarted the efforts with a personal $200 donation. Every dollar raised goes toward three fantastic organizations - Fight Colorectal Cancer, Man Up to Cancer, and the Prevent Cancer Foundation. 

And, along the way, I can promise photos showing the progress (hideousness?) culminating something I can't even imagine come November 30th. Thanks in advance to all of you for your support!
