After a year of vocally fighting, thinking we beat it, then finding it spread, I'm still able to grow a beard through my current treatment so I'll keep it going and keep talking about cancer. It's not a boogey man you can talk about it and make a difference in someone else's life by encouraging them to get checked and speak out.
