Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer at age 47. Today, I'm fortunate to be living with no evidence of disease, and I'm committed to helping improve outcomes for others facing cancer.
This November, I'm raising funds with the Fight CRC RATS team to support three organizations doing important work:
Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC): Advancing colorectal cancer research, advocating for better treatments and screening, and supporting patients and survivors. I'm proud to volunteer as a Fight CRC Research Advocate.
Man Up to Cancer: Supporting men affected by cancer through connection and community, including the Gathering of Wolves retreat. Having experienced firsthand what this community means, I now help lead our local New Jersey chapter.
Prevent Cancer Foundation: Working to prevent cancer and improve outcomes through prevention and early detection.
No Shave November turns a little fun (and a lot of facial hair) into meaningful support for cancer research, education, advocacy, and the people whose lives have been affected by cancer.
