Rugby is a sport built on brotherhood. You spend countless hours together training, traveling, competing, celebrating wins, learning from losses, and occasionally making decisions that seemed much smarter at the time. Over the years, those experiences turn teammates into something more than just friends. They become family.

Over my collegiate four years, the Delaware Rugby community has experienced the loss of multiple close members from our team to cancer. These aren't distant statistics or stories we heard somewhere else. These were people who were part of our community, our memories, and our lives. Their absence is something our team carries with us, and it reminds us that the fight against cancer is one that reaches far beyond any single person.

No Shave November has always felt like a natural fit for rugby. We're already pretty comfortable looking rough around the edges, and there has never been a shortage of guys willing to see just how bad their facial hair can get. But this year, we're giving that tradition a purpose.

The Delaware Rugby Team is coming together to raise money, spread awareness, and honor those we've lost while supporting those who are still fighting. Every beard, every donation, and person we bring into this effort is another way for our team to stand together for something bigger than ourselves.
