Hi Friends,

It will come as no surprise that NY Shakespeare Exchange is the heart of my artistic life. I can still remember, though barely, the early days developing our very first show, Kevin Brewer's The One Man (Two Man (not quite)) Hamlet. We had no idea how to produce a show in NYC, much less what it takes to pay for it.

Now, though, we have learned to reach audiences around the world. We have toured to Ohio, Texas, and even Brazil. Our Sonnet Project films are making contact with people we never even knew we could connect with. In fact, we recently had a film submitted all the way from Austrailia. 

We are committed to sharing our story and using the words of William Shakespeare to bring people together. But we cannot do it alone. The plain and simple truth is that making art is expensive.
