I, along with other Viet Nam era veterans, am spending my golden years fighting Parkinson's Disease related to my Agent Orange exposure.  Like my comrades in arms, I never expected my biggest battle to come after retirement.  But slowly over the past 25 years i began facing challenges that I never suspected were associated with my service in Viet Nam.  Loss of smell and sleep disturbances were minor compared with loss of memory, physical limitations, and total dependence on others to get through the day.  Though I often have difficulty keeping my head up, I still enjoy watching grandchildren, sharing in movie nights, and trips to the great outdoors. I enjoy throwing punches at the gym and eating ice cream afterwards.  I may sometimes be down but I am not out.  Please join me in supporting this fund raising event for Parkinsons.
