As many of you know, I have volunteered and participated in a variety of events around our area throughout the years.  Over the Edge has been on my bucket list for the last few and I finally have the opporunity to participate.  Being a single mom of two, I'm so grateful to know places like the YSB exist for our local youth.  Every child should have access to shelter, to feel safe, and the opporunity to succeed.  For me personally, it's important to break generational curses by teaching youth how to overcome the complex barriers to self-sufficiency.  I'm raising money because our entire community benefits when we can empower young people and give them the tools to build self-sufficient and successful lives.  Please consider donating to watch me rappel off the Robertsons Apartment Building in DTSB on October 7th.  I promise to make it worth it!
