This is my second year going repelling over the side of a building to fight against youth violence in an annual event we call Over The Edge. I work for City Life KIX in Homestead, Florida where we work with kids who often encounter youth violence in many different ways in their lives. Growing up I experienced youth violence and made some bad decisions because I didn't always have someone to guide me to making better decisions and be involved in my life. Here at KIX I have the opportunity to be a mentor and be involved in so many kids life. I get to fight against youth violence by showing up and being a consistent person in kids life. I cant do it alone, I need your help to raise funds and awareness so I can continue to do what God has called me to do.
