It has been a very trying year with the pandemic and how it has affected the lives of so many. From social distancing to the wearing of masks to school closures and uncertain finances.
There has been a lot of focus on fighting Covid 19 and rightfully so, however we cannot forget about those who have received a cancer diagnosis during these trying times.
Just imagine receiving a cancer diagnosis, attending to chemo, radiation, or surgery treatments at a time that no one can be there to comfort or be with you.
I know that many of you reading this have gone through a cancer fight neither personally or with a friend or loved one. I am also sure that you know of people who have fought Covid over the past year and maybe some have not survived.
I do hope you all will remember those who are fighting for their lives in this challenging time and support the Never Alone Cancer Foundation.
