This year I am raising money for Pet Alliance in memory of Lula! Our sweet girl gave us years of companionship, love and laughter (and a few headaches) before she left us. If you met her, no doubt you remember her for her vocal greetings, soft fur that she insisted you pet and her little nub tail that wagged when she was happy.
We rescued Lula in February 2008, when she was almost 2-years old. She had been surrendered to a local county shelter and then cared for by a rescue before we adopted her. The money raised for Paws in the Park will help the thousands of dogs and cats like Lula that come through Pet Alliance's doors for temporary shelter, care and love before they find their new homes.
