United Way BC is United for Menstrual Equity!

Periods are a fact of life. When you don’t have access to the product you need, when you need it can mean missing out on, school or work and staying connected to your community. Period poverty is incredibly isolating, but even more so for folks who are vulnerable. The findings from United Way BC’s Period Promise Research Project indicated more than half of people who menstruate in BC have struggled to purchase products at some point in their life. United Way’s Period Promise campaign, presented by Pacific Blue Cross in partnership with CUPE Local 1816, is committed to making it easier for everybody to access the product they need, when they need it. Join us! Donate today and help us raise awareness, reduce stigma, and tackle the vulnerability and isolation caused by period poverty.
