My Loves!

Two stories and I'll try to keep them quick.

Sammy

One day, I was at a red light and I got an email notification about available dogs. I opened it up and there sat the cutest blue eyed baby that I had ever seen. I knew immediately that she was going to be my first dog. My husband was not aware of that fact yet, but I sent him the address and told him to meet me there at 2:30. I called, made an opppointment for that day, and went there after work. My husband walks in to me and his mother  playing with a young dog. He still thinks it was a set up, but I really didn't have any clue that his mother was volunteering that day. We took her home and she has been the most snuggly and sweetest dog ever.

Jimmy

Now, Jimmy was a set up. I waited until my husband was with some firends and maybe had a few beverages. He said, "Cute puppy, ok." It's not my fault he forgot about it. I made the appoinment and we go to see him, but we were told that the litter had all been adopted. I was sad, but I asked about him by name anyways. It turns out, they had removed them from the site due to too mant inquires, but "Tatum" was there, a full blooded blue heeler with floppy ears. He waddle/runs in, directly to my husband, and pees. We knew he was ours from the start.

The Charlotte Humane society and the Animal Control unit has given me my heart, which I hadn't any idea that I was missing. They make me smile and rush home everyday and I hope others can find the same through the efforts of these groups. Please help me to raise money in support. Hey, I'll also be excersizing, so a win win, right?
