Maggie and Millie Fundraising Page

Hi friends! ?

We’re Maggie and Millie, and we’re so excited to be back for this year’s PetsWALK! Thank you for stopping by our fundraising page—this means the world to us (and to so many of our furry friends).

I’m Maggie, a 13-year-old pitty mix and professional couch cuddler. These days, I take things a little slower (my arthritis likes to remind me I’m a senior lady), but with enough support—and a cozy nap or two—I’m determined to make it to PetsWALK again this year. If we can raise at least $500, I promise to lace up my paws and join the fun!

And I’m Millie! A 5-year-old wiggle worm, hiking buddy, and swimming enthusiast. PetsWALK is basically my Super Bowl—I LOVE seeing all the new friends! Last year I won the Wiggle Butt contest (yes, I’m very proud), and I’m ready to defend my title. I’ve been practicing… a lot. ??

Together, we’re walking to support shelter pets, because they are very dear to us. Please consider making a donation—any amount helps! Your gift will ensure that Kitsap Humane Society can continue to care for sick, injured, and abandoned animals who need love and a second chance. Together, we really can make a difference.

Kitsap Humane Society is more than just an animal shelter—it’s a whole team of humans helping pets like us live our best lives! From reuniting lost pets with their families to helping animals find new homes through adoptions, they’re there every step of the way. They also provide Animal Control services and support for pets and their people, whether it’s behavior help or keeping families together.

Their programs reach far and wide, with things like a Pet Food Pantry, Pet Protection Program, and a big transfer program that brings in animals from other areas who need a second chance. They host community spay/neuter surgeries and vaccine and microchip clinics to help keep everyone healthy and safe, plus offer pet licensing and compassionate end-of-life care when it’s needed most.

For families going through tough times, low-cost veterinary services help make sure beloved pets can stay right where they belong—at home. All together, it makes Kitsap Humane Society a true safety net for our community, helping pets and people across Kitsap County and beyond.

So from one sweet senior snuggler and one wiggly champion… thank you for your support, your kindness, and your love for animals like us. ?

Now if you’ll excuse us, we have some very important training to do (naps for Maggie, wiggles for Millie).

With tail wags and gratitude,
Maggie & Millie ?
