In Memory of Tyson ?
Six years ago, I adopted Tyson as a puppy, never knowing just how much of my heart he would come to hold. Tyson was a Boxer through and through—goofy, loving, playful, and incredibly snuggly. He had the biggest personality and always found a way to make us laugh. Most of all, he just wanted to be close to his people.
Tyson wasn’t just my dog. He was my family, my best friend, and a huge part of my everyday life.
Sadly, Tyson’s life was cut far too short at only six years old. He suffered a serious spinal injury that eventually took away his ability to walk and caused him so much pain. Watching such a young, happy, loving dog become so limited was heartbreaking. We fought for him and did everything we could to keep him comfortable, but in the end, we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy.
I’m participating in Paws in the Park with the SPCA in memory of Tyson because I want something good to come from the pain of losing him.
I want Tyson’s life to mean something beyond the heartbreak of losing him. If the money raised in his memory can help another animal receive medical care, find safety, or get the loving home they deserve, then his short life can continue to make a difference.
I wish I could have given Tyson more years. He deserved so many more. But I hope that by helping other animals, a little piece of Tyson can live on and help give another animal a second chance.
If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every donation, no matter the size, is a way of honoring Tyson. And if you can’t donate, sharing his story means more than you know.
Tyson was loved. Tyson mattered. And Tyson will never be forgotten. ??
I love you forever, my sweet boy. I hope you are now playing ball up there with Diesel. ?
