We want to express our heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit our fundraising page.

This walk is very special to us as we honor and remember our daughter, Callie Quinn Summers.  Callie was born on March 19th, 2026 with a rare congential heart defect, where parts of the left side of her heart were too small to work on their own. At only 6 days old, she underwent an incredibly complex open-heart surgery called the Norwood procedure. Despite her fight and great strength, she faced many complications that her little body could not overcome. Callie showed us strength beyond words. She taught our family more about love, resilience, faith, and hope than we ever thought possible. Her journey also brought us into the heart community, one we never expected to be part of, but will always be grateful for. 

We are not only walking in her memory to honor her life, but also to support other children and families facing congenital heart disease. 

The Children's Heart Foundation celebrates 30 years of funding research that saves lives and changes futures. Its not just a walk; it's a stride toward the next 30 years of hope. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation's crucial mission—advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research that improves survival rates, reduces complications, and helps Heart Warriors celebrate more birthdays than ever before. 

Thank you to everyone who has supported us - through donations, prayers, texts, and simply standing beside us - thank you.  We walk for Callie and for every heart still fighting.
