Artistic costs that directly affect my experience in MYS exceed $100,000 each year. This amount covers our rehearsal space and concert venues, music, instruments sectional coaches, and most importantly student scholarships, creating excellent orchestral education possible for all! Hello my name is Alison and I play in the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS). I have played Bass for 3 years. MYS is important to me because I get to perform, play, and learn more about music than I do anywhere else.  I like working with differnt conductors and also talking classes to learn more about music theory. MYS gives me the opportunity to perform at Minnesota Orchestra Hall.
