As the Director of Global Development at MoveIn, I have the privilege of working closely with pioneering staff across Europe and Latin America as we seek to see the MoveIn vision take root in new places. This October, I will travel to Borås (Sweden) for our MoveIn Europe gathering—a key moment to support and encourage our teams, share stories, and equip leaders who are faithfully living out the gospel in their neighbourhoods. The Gathering will also host young people who are considering 'moving in' in France, England, Netherlands and Norway.
Across both regions, I see a growing hunger for community and a willingness to step into challenging contexts. Our teams are often small but deeply committed, and they need encouragement, training, and resources to continue their work. Regional gatherings like the one in Borås (Sweden) as well as vision trips and new staff support, are essential for building momentum and sustaining these teams.
Your partnership in this project will also make it possible for the Latin American movement—73 MoveIners across 8 countries, 11 cities, and 17 teams—to gather in person in August of 2026 in Venezuela. This will be a crucial opportunity for these leaders to connect, learn, and be equipped for the next season - they are able to gather only once every two years. Additionally, your support will fund a mobilizational event in Mexico City specifically designed to inspire and engage young people, helping to raise up the next generation of MoveIners across the region.
Your giving will help us strengthen the movement and mobilize more young people to join God’s work in often overlooked neighbourhoods. I am specifically thinking of the Petare (Caracas) or La Matica (Cumaná) neighbourhoods in Venezuela, where—amidst brokenness, persecution, and extreme vulnerability—hungry children are being fed in Jesus' name, and young people leave gangs, turn to Christ, and join the work of building up their community.
Would you consider a gift of $50, 200 or $500 that will be doubled, thanks to a generous donor?
Thank you for considering giving and investing in the emerging generation and in the comminities that have been stigmatized and forgotten!
