Using My Love of Running for a Great Cause!

Thank you for visiting. The Disney half marathon is an opportunity for me and two very important people in my life, my teammates, who have dedicated their lives to helping children with special needs, to make a difference for the children and families impacted by Rett Syndrome.  My part in this fundraising could never compare to their day-to-day efforts, but every dollar raised here will contribute to bringing awareness and research into therapies to aid those affected, and in this way, we can all make a difference.

Rett Syndrome takes away a girl’s ability to speak, walk, crawl, or use her hands, but it doesn’t take her spirit. Rett Girls are strong, bright, beautiful, and the ones who inspire us to fight with every drop of energy we have.
