Running? I hated running for a good 29 years of my life.  When I started running, it took me three years to run a 5k without stopping. I learned that running is more than what meets the eye.  Training for long distance running entails good nutrition, consistent stretching habits, and muscle strengthening.  I try to eat a lot of protein to help with my energy. I stretch for 5 minutes after every run. I strength train three times a week. Specifically, I focus on my abs, butt and leg muscles. Running isnt just "running" for me. So... 

With my passion for running and children, how could I turn down running and fundraising for children in the happiest place on earth? 

P.S. You bet I'll be running with a TIARA on my head.
