Jiroko is running her 3rd 5K for HER! Diego is running his 2nd 5K for HER! I am running my 3rd 10K for HER! For Danai! because of Rett Syndrome Danai cannot walk or run! I know one day we will cross that finish line together. Many times I have mentioned to her that one year she will go with me and we will cross it together and she gives me the biggest smile ever. Until then, I have promised her that I will continue to run for her and raise awarenes for her and all the girls and boys with Rett. I know that cure will come soon! 

2017 has been a hard year, health wise, for Danai.  Many times I felt like I was going to lose her, that she was not going to make it out of the hospital with us. She was in there way too many times this year. Danai is strong and she has pulled through and  has shown us to not give up.  So we are here running more miles for her.

The first year I ran this 10K- I did not cross that finish line, so when I crossed it last year, it was a HUGE achievement for me. I cant run, but I run to raise awareness for Rett Syndrome, to raise money to be able to fund research for a cure, but most importantly for HER. 

My friends Diego and Jiroko are running for her again. I cant ever thank them enough for what they do for Danai. This race, no matter the miles, is no joke! Even though Diego did not run the first year he was there supporting us early in the morning. 

Our individual fundraising goal is $500 per member for a total of $1500 for the team. This is when you come in. Your donations help fund reseach for the cure we have all been waiting for! Your donation is also tax-deductible! Any dollar counts towards our goal!
