Five years ago September 4th, Fonzie's journey ended. It doesn't get any easier as the years pass.

Fonzie's journey started on May 30, 2014 with a trip to the hospital for a procedure.  The last thing I thought that day was the doctor would come out and say your husband is bleeding to death and we need to do emergency surgery.  From that point on it was a whirlwind of ups and downs, decision,crying,hoping and enjoy our time together as we didn't know how long we had together.  Watching the love of your life died before your eyes is a vision that you never forget.

Through everything that was going on around us we both knew that God was in control and we continued to pray and believe in a complete healing.  Prayers were answered, Wayne received a complete healing and restoration of his body, however, it was not here on earth with me but rather with the King.  Yes, Wayne walked into the presence of our Lord and eternal life.

This year alone I have known several people who has passed away from this disease and know more that or fighting the battle of a lifetime.  This being said, I will continue to support this cause so that others will not have to endure the pain and agony of this disease.
